Can You Fly With a Vape Pen To Moldova?
Airlines allow a vape pen in your carry-on bag or on your person, never in checked luggage. The FAA says vapes must stay in the cabin and must never be used or charged on the aircraft.
For flights from the US, the TSA allows vapes in carry-on bags only. Each lithium ion battery must be rated at 100 watt-hours or less, and you must keep the device from switching on by accident.
Spare batteries also belong in your carry-on. Bottles of e-liquid count as liquids at security, so keep them at 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less and pack them in your liquids bag.
Vaping Laws In Moldova
E-cigarettes are legal to sell in Moldova under Law No. 278 on tobacco control, according to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids' legal database.
The same law counts vaping as smoking, so you can't vape in enclosed or semi-enclosed public places, workplaces or on public transport.

Are Vape Pens Illegal in Moldova?
Legal Status of Vape Pens in Moldova
No, vape pens are legal in Moldova, but they are regulated like tobacco.
Advertising is almost entirely banned, e-cigarettes can't be sold online, and some additives such as caffeine and vitamins are banned from e-liquids.
Where Can I Legally Use Vapes?
Vape outdoors, away from crowds, unless signs say otherwise. Indoor public places, workplaces and public transport are off limits.
Vapes are for adults only. In the US, federal law has banned selling e-cigarettes to anyone under 21 since December 2019.

Tips for Bringing a Vape Pen on a Plane
With a bit of preparation, flying with a vape pen is simple. Here are some tips:
Do Your Research: Check the TSA rules and your airline's policy before you fly. Airlines can limit how many devices you carry, and countries where you change planes can have their own vape laws.
Pack Smartly: Keep your vape in your carry-on, switched off or locked so the button can't be pressed. Store spare batteries in a case so the terminals can't touch metal.
Don't Vape On Board: There is no vaping on commercial flights, and you can't charge a vape on board either.
