Don't bring one. Qatar's Law No. 10 of 2016 bans the import, sale, distribution and manufacture of e-cigarettes, according to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids legal database.

The UK government's travel advice says the ban applies regardless of quantity and intended use, and that customs officials may confiscate vapes from your luggage.

Never pack a vape in checked luggage for any flight. Airlines only allow vapes in the cabin because of the fire risk from their lithium batteries.

What About Bringing E-Liquids?

E-liquids are banned too. Qatar prohibits importing, selling and buying e-cigarettes, their liquids and similar products, including electronic shisha.

Check the liquids rule at every airport on your route, including the one you fly home from.
