The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids legal database found no law in Kenya addressing e-cigarettes when it last reviewed the country in November 2021.

To be safe, only vape in designated smoking areas. Kenya's drug penalties are severe, so never bring THC or cannabis cartridges.

Tips for Bringing a Vape Pen on a Plane

Research Regulations:

Vapes and spare batteries may only travel in your carry-on bag or on your person, never in checked luggage. You can't vape or charge them on board.

Check your airline's own rules before you fly, too.

Pack Securely:

Switch the device off or lock it so it can't fire in your bag. The TSA requires steps to prevent accidental activation.

Keep spare batteries in a battery case or their retail packaging so the terminals can't touch keys, coins or each other.

Carry Onboard:

At US airports, e-liquid bottles in your carry-on must be 3.4 ounces (100 ml) or less and fit in your quart-sized liquids bag. Check the liquids rule at every airport on your route.

If your carry-on is checked at the gate, take your vape and spare batteries out first.
