Can You Fly With a Vape Pen To Paraguay?
Vaping Regulations in Paraguay
Paraguay allows e-cigarettes, but regulates them closely under Law No. 7508, according to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids legal database.
Products must be registered with DINAVISA, the national health surveillance agency, and only authorized shops may sell them.
Traveling With Vape Pens
Airlines allow vapes in your carry-on bag or on your person, never in checked luggage.
Spare lithium batteries must also stay in the cabin, with the terminals covered so they can't short-circuit.
You can't vape or charge your device on the plane. The FAA says these rules are the same on domestic and international flights.
At US airports, e-liquid bottles in your carry-on must be 3.4 ounces (100 ml) or less and fit in your quart-sized liquids bag.
Check the liquids rule at every airport on your route, including the one you fly home from.
Using Vaping Devices During Travel
Paraguay bans vaping in indoor public places, workplaces and public transport. The law only permits vaping in open spaces.

Are Vape Pens Illegal in Paraguay?
What is the Legal Status of Vaping in Paraguay?
No. Vaping is legal for adults. Paraguay bans selling e-cigarettes to anyone under 18.
The law also caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml, bans online sales and bans e-cigarette advertising.
Are There Any Restrictions On Where You Can Vape?
Yes. Vape only outdoors, never in restaurants, offices, buses or other indoor public places.
Can I Bring My Vaporizer Into The Country?
We couldn't find an official rule on how much vaping gear visitors may bring for personal use.
Bring only what you need, and check with Paraguay's embassy if you plan to carry a large supply of e-liquid.

Tips for Bringing a Vape Pen on a Plane
Know the Regulations
Vaping is banned on board commercial flights, and you can't charge your vape on the plane either.
Some airlines limit how many vaping devices you can carry, so check your airline's website before you fly.
Choose Your Vape Pen Wisely
The TSA limits each lithium ion battery to 100 Wh, which covers ordinary vape batteries. Choose a device with a lock or power button so it can't fire in your bag.
Pack Smartly
Keep spare batteries in a battery case or their retail packaging so the terminals can't touch keys, coins or each other.
Pack e-liquid in a sealed plastic bag in case bottles leak as cabin pressure changes.
